Port Arthur Area, Texas Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Port Arthur Housing Authority (PAHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from July 1, 2024, until 1,000 applications were received. While the exact closing date is unknown, the waiting list closed prior to August 20, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Preferences

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Homeless – Must be able to provide documentation from social service agency assisting with nightly accommodations.
• Working or unable to work due to age or disability.
