Brazoria County, Texas Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Brazoria County Housing Authority (BCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from July 12, 2021 at 8:00 am, until July 16, 2021 at 4:00 pm CT.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

Please note: According to the BCHA representative the average wait time could range from few months up to 5+ years.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live or work in Brazoria County, Texas.
• Elderly or Disabled
• Working

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
