Taylor, Texas Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Taylor Housing Authority (THA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The THA last accepted Section 8 HCV applications for this waiting list from October 18, 2021, until October 21, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Print the paper application available online.
2. Pick up an application from the THA.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $34,650 | 5 Persons $53,450
• 2 Persons $39,600 | 6 Persons $57,400
• 3 Persons $44,550 | 7 Persons $61,350
• 4 Persons $49,450 | 8 Persons $65,300

 This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Williamson County resident – 10 points
• Displaced – 10 points
• Elderly/Disabled – 5 points
• Honorable Discharged Veteran – 5 points
• Working Family – 5 points

300 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
