City of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

Harrisonburg Redevelopment & Housing Authority (HRHA) Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open.

The HRHA is accepting applications for this waiting list from the earliest confirmed date of March 1, 2022, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Working/Employed, Rent Burdened, Elderly, Disabled, Homeless, Veteran, Displaced by Natural Disaster, Live in Substandard Housing, Victims of Domestic Violence, Living in overcrowded conditions,  Job Training or Higher Education or Referred by Local Assistance Program.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
