La Crosse, Wisconsin Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The La Crosse Housing Authority (LHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from August 21, 2023, until September 4, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $32,700 | 5 Persons $50,450
• 2 Persons $37,400 | 6 Persons $54,200
• 3 Persons $42,050 | 7 Person $57,950
• 4 Persons $46,700 | 8 Persons $61,650

Preferences have not been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.
