Butte and Glenn County, California Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the County of Butte (HACB) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon.

The HACB last accepted applications for this waiting list from January 30, 2023, until February 13, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

1. Limited Homeless
2. Limited Moving Up
3. Family Unification Program (FUP)/Transitional Age Youth (TAY)

1,500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by preferences.
