Hi there, I'm Shien Yuin (Naomi), a professional piano instructor passionate about guiding my students to explore and enjoy what music can bring to their lives.
I have been teaching piano for more than a decade now, and absolutely enjoy seeing my students picking up music playing and loving it! Graduated with the Piano Performance and Pedagogy Degree, music teaching has always been at the core of my career.
Having taught in a public school as a music teacher in Singapore, and later on as the Head of the Performing Arts Department overseeing various performing art activities, these invaluable experiences had given me the cutting-edge opportunities to work with students of different backgrounds, learning needs, personalities and talents and developed skills necessary to guide each of them based on their learning abilities.
Being an educator at heart, my philosophy of music teaching is to help students discover the joy of music and to establish the mindset of lifelong learning. I've taught students of all ages. I personally handpick the materials for my students based on their personalities and learning needs.
