Hello, my name is Chrissy. I am a multi-instrumentalist (singer/ukulele/guitar) who performs well known songs in a unique style. Audiences always comment on how my performances are uplifting!
With over a decade of live performance experience on guitar, bass and ukulele, my specialty is bringing new life to tunes from the 70's to the current day. Artists such as Madonna, Radiohead, Post Malone and The White Stripes have been rearranged to deliver something familiar with a twist by injecting elements of other genres.
I am a versatile musician who can add some jazz standards, country, oldies, Christmas songs and island style music (think Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Island Style) upon request. I can be the background music at your cocktail hour who sets the mood, or the one who encourages the crowd to dance and sing along or anything in between - your choice! I have an acoustic amp for small to medium settings (approx. 100 people) and for larger events, I can arrange a PA. For intimate settings, I can play unplugged and be a roving musician.
I like to perform with a loop pedal/vocal harmonizer so that I can lay down a beat to play the song over and layer it with lush vocal harmonizes. Having the sound and energy of a band at the price of a solo artist is great for people working within a limited space or budget.
I am endorsed by Kanile'a Ukulele and Godin Guitars and have played across the USA, Australia, Mexico and Canada. My festival schedule includes: The Melbourne Ukulele Festival, Tamapa Bay Ukulele Festival, Gaithersburg Ukulele Festival, and NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants). I have performed on Royal Caribbean Cruises and at corporate functions, weddings and private parties and events around Los Angeles.
