My ultimate career interests lie within the fields of Leadership Training and Development using methodologies of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
My interest & knowledge in the history & distillation of spirits, wine, & beer was beneficial in that it helped in building a business strategy for BeerNerds. It also allowed me to assume the lead in educating and training staff members about the programs that I had implemented. This furthered my understanding and knowledge in practicing the best ways to teach to a multitude of personalities. In addition, in regards to driving profitability and educational development, I learned how to keep staff motivated and excited about their new job.
Working as a consultant required a great amount of market research concerning consumer behaviors, financial factors, current & future trends etc. in order to implement a successful restaurant program and sales strategy. This experience allowed me to delve deeper into the practical application of psychological research methods and tools that I had learned about in college.
The most important quality that I believe has driven my success in the career roles that I have assumed is the ability to lead with integrity. The personal accomplishments that are most important to me are that I have always been able to connect and build inspiration with the teams that I have managed.
