"Have Shaker, Will Travel." Veteran Owned and Operated (IYKYK;)
Hello Everyone! Zack the Bartender here. I am a fully Insured and Bonded
traveling Bartender. I am an independent soul that has been working in restaurants for eighteen years. I am a great personality for any party that you can throw...at me, like literally. I bartended full time over the course of eleven years, and made a lot of great friends along the way. I am hoping to create and expand my business in the greater Ohio area, but I am willing to travel (negotiable, naturally). Most of the people I have ever taken care of at any restaurant would tell you that I was a hard working and intelligent individual. I never wrote things down, and had everyone's orders made or typed in before they even say hi or sit down. I was raised in hospitality and have continued it professionally most of my adult life. I am also a proud veteran, but know better than to talk politics (negotiable, naturally).
I am passionate about making connections with people and sharing stories. I am passionate about getting to know people, getting to know their stories, and getting to know their orders. I would say that a lot of the connections I have made over the years are more than just professional, as many of my regulars and coworkers have become good friends over the years. All of them will tell you how passionate I am about my family, MOVIES, comics, buckles, t-shirts, and singing.
I have a few special skills to list. So much information in such little time. I always like to lead with, "I know some ASL," and with it being so prevalent in movies and television lately, it makes me feel like I have a leg up on the competition. Having said that, I am a little out of practice, but would pick it up easily if prompted. I was a paralegal in the military, and served four years of active duty with the U.S. Army. In that time, I was deployed for about fourteen months to Iraq. I was trained in criminal law stateside, and more claims based law while deployed. Before and after the military, I worked in restaurants. In those experiences, I sharpened my skills in: sales, inventory, marketing, audience building, atmosphere awareness, large group management, corporate events, private events, weddings, writing, organization, singing (had to, are you even still reading? This is really long, right? Just wanted to give your mind a wander...anyway), drink mixing, food making, hosting and planning events, and the list could go on, obviously *coughs. Equipment wise, I will bring my own bar tools and any necessary accoutrement to make the event that much more fun...because I was there! Boom!
