Hi, my name is Coach Steve:)
Basketball has been a part of my life since I was a little kid. From kindergarten to high school I have been playing basketball in and outside of school. In high school, I played 4 years varsity level, in which one of those years I was team members with the Toronto Raptor 2022 NBA rookie of the year: Scottie Barnes. Basketball has made me who I am and has helped me cope with the obstacles of life. It is my outlet. Knowing how basketball has positively impacted my life, I want to impact other people's life through basketball.
I have completed basketball internships helping kids improve their techniques. I have done many community service hours helping out in summer camps. I have trained multiple college players as well as NBA players, such as John Collins, from the Atlanta Hawks, and Ersan İlyasova, a Turkish former professional basketball player. I have worked with Tyler Herro, a professional basketball player for the Miami Heat. I have trained others celebrities, as well, like Nicky Jam, a renowned Spanish raper. I have done all this and more, and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon.
Today, I work as a full-time coach for one of the best basketball companies in South Florida, Perseverance Basketball. I work with kids from all ages, from 7 years of age to adults. My purpose is have the trainee push pass their "limits" and improve their skills so that when they step on the court they have the confidence and ability to succeed and come out on top.
