At Auntie O's Café, we bring together the rich culinary heritage of St. Lucia and the vibrant flavors of America. Our journey began with Olive Spencer, a native of St. Lucia, who ignited her passion for cooking in her mother's kitchen as a teenager. This humble space became the canvas for her culinary dreams and the foundation of her lifelong love affair with food. Olive's enthusiasm for cooking was infectious, and she soon found herself sharing her knowledge and skills in the art of cake making and decoration. Over the years, she has mentored hundreds of students from around the world, passing on the secrets of creating delectable confections. In 2014, Olive's dream took a new form with the establishment of Caketastic, a beloved cake and dessert shop nestled in the heart of Tampa. The warm reception from the community affirmed her belief in the power of good food to create connections and spread joy. Fast forward to 2023, Olive's culinary prowess was officially recognized when she received the prestigious title of Pastry Chef of the Year from the esteemed ACF Tampa Bay Culinary Association. To further extend her culinary footprint, Olive unveiled her second venture - Auntie O's Café. Nestled in the vibrant Westshore Business District of Tampa, this charming eatery boasts a delightful fusion of American and Caribbean-inspired breakfast and lunch offerings. Every dish is a testament to Olive's unwavering commitment to quality and flavor.
