After completing her education, Asiah relocated back to Michigan and began working in the state’s environmental health department. This move marked a turning point in her life as she rediscovered her roots and reignited her passion for cooking. During the COVID-19 quarantine, a professional athlete reached out for meal prep services, and in response, Asiah innocently shared her meal preparations online. The overwhelming response led to the birth of Perfect Timing Meal Prep. Recognizing the need for balanced meals in her community, she decided to turn her passion into community. Asiah founded her own meal prep and catering company, Perfect Timing Meal Prep and Catering. Her mission was clear: to bring people together through thoughtfully tailored, prepared meals that combined her culinary creativity with the values instilled in her by her grandparents.
