About

I only teach intermediate to advanced students.

Fluency in reading music is required .

I have degrees from both The Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School. I live in New York City I have taught for nearly 20 years privately and at The Juilliard Pre -College and Columbia University and NYU. I have helped students win entry to The Juilliard School, The Juilliard Pre -College, The Curtis institute of Music, Bard Conservatory, Oberlin Conservatory , Northwestern, Yale School of Music etc . I have given master classes all over the world . I play with the NYPHILHARMONIC and have sustained a very active solo career internationally. I can help you reach your goals as a cellist, whether it be winning a competition, entry to a music school or winning a college scholarship.

I teach from my studio on the upper west side in NYC. I do not teach how to read music. If you do not know how to read music I am not the teacher for you, and you need to find a teacher for beginners.
