About

I’m a professional cellist with more than 20 years of experience in cello playing and 10 plus years of teaching experience. My current students have placed in competitions around the state and have been accepted to major youth orchestras. Currently I'm located in Los Angeles.

I have received my Bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance from Eastman School of Music, Master’s Degree in Cello Performance and Doctor of Musical Art in Cello Performance from Northwestern University.

I care about my students progress and want them to do well and enjoy learning at the same time. After teaching beginner elementary school students to advanced conservatory music majors to adult beginners, I understand that every person's learning style is different. And I’m experience in teaching people of all ages and in all skill levels.

I currently have my own teaching studio here in Walnut, California. However I’m also available for offering going to student’s house such as in Orange County, and Greater Los Angeles County. In addition, I also offer online lesson for those who are interested.
