Let's make your event one to remember with a combination of well-written, hilarious standup ? and original comedy music that you'll still be singing the next day. ? It's like getting two acts for one!
In-Person and Online events available.
Introduction: I'm a comedian with an intelligent and silly sense of humor. (Think Ralphie May, Eddie Izzard, Jackie Kashian, Christopher Titus, Stephen Lynch, etc.) Can work clean if you need or get a little edgy if it's appropriate for your crowd. I can also include custom material for your event if you'd like.
My show doesn't feature much crowd work, "roasting the audience", or the like. It sometimes happens organically, but I don't build it into the show.
I've been making people laugh professionally and touring the country since 2004. You can see and hear my work on Sirius/XM Radio, Spotify, Amazon Prime, Apple Music, and more.
COVID Stuff: I offer both in-person and online events. Fully vaccinated. Outdoor or indoor events are fine. I don't generally wear a mask while performing, but can if you want me to. I'll have a mask on for all the "offstage" parts of the event.
*Please note - my MINIMUM performance fee is $750, so keep that in mind when reaching out for a quote*
Final pricing depends on:
- How long a show you'd like me to do
- How many people you'll have attending
- Whether or not you'd like me to write custom material for your event
- If you'll need me to bring sound equipment
- How far your event is from me
- In-person vs Online events
Important tips for having a successful comedy show at your event:
1. Make sure everyone knows there's going to be a comedy show. People who expect a comedy show are in the right state of mind for it and will have a great time. People who are expecting to spend an evening eating and chatting with friends and then have to flip into "listen to this guy tell jokes" mode won't have a great time. And I want to make sure everyone has a great time! ?
If it's a surprise party for a guest of honor, you can keep it a surprise for them. But everyone else should know there will be a comedy show.
2. Kids and standup comedy don't mix very well. Even when the material is clean enough for kids, it's still a bunch of talk about "grown up stuff" that won't interest them very much. You might move them into another space with things for them to do during the show - maybe with an adult to watch them who doesn't like comedy (perish the thought!).
Of course there are kids who have exhibited a love for standup - I was that kid... - And they're welcome at the show, of course.
3. Plan to have the comedy show at a different time than eating (dinner, etc.) Why? Laughing + Eating = Choking. A great time for the show is between the main meal and dessert. After dessert works too.
