I have been a Certified Dog Trainer now for 14 years. My focus is and remains assisting Pet Parents with their Canine Children so that there is a positive relationship between both. I graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2007 and originally did group and individual lessons, but had found individual lessons, in the home of dog and pet parent actually was more effective.
Many people have the concept that "Obedience Training" is teaching their pooch how to "behave". While that is partially correct, I am under the firm belief that training is actually fostering the relationship between the dog and their "humans", creating a loving bond where the dog "behaves" because they really are connected and want to "please" their humans. Positive Behavior Modification Techniques are the basis for all training I provide. I strive to strengthen that bond with the ultimate goal of the dog becoming a "Good Canine Citizen". I also strive to keep costs down for pet parents so they can use the money for their dog's care not me so I do not require a minimum number of lessons and I provide all training materials and written lesson plans as part of the package.
About 95% of my clients report results in one lesson (approx. 2 hours) .
My lessons are interactive, fun for both human and dog.
