About

Laurie was certified in dog training through the Dog Trainer College’s Dog Behavior and Obedience Program, a comprehensive in person training program focused on canine behavior and rewards-based obedience skills. In addition to direct hands on obedience work with dogs, DTC’s full-time program provides core foundational knowledge in breed temperaments and characteristics, canine first aid, and canine nutrition. At Shelburne Dog Care, our mission is to help dogs and their owners learn new ways to strengthen their communication, build a stronger connection, and live happy peaceful lives together. We believe learning is a life-long process, and that there is always something new we can teach our canine companions to improve their lives and our time with them. To help our dogs succeed, we focus on improving socialization skills, relaxation, and basic obedience manners.

Shelburne Dog Care offers private training, obedience and socialization classes, and soon private “take-and-trains” and doggy day school.
