I absolutely love to teach and I love my students! I am here to help aspiring drummers reach their goals in a comfortable and positive setting. Whether you want to get started playing in a band, prepare for a recording session or brush up on your skills - I customize the lesson plan for each student; focusing on your individual goals and figuring out ways you can meet them as efficiently as possible. I teach out of my drum studio in Maspeth, Queens but also teach remote lessons to students all over the US and Europe.

Described by Spin Magazine as one of the top 100 Drummers in Alternative Music, I'm a drummer, composer, writer and band leader based in NYC. I founded the bands Oneida and Man Forever and have performed, toured, recorded or collaborated with Yo La Tengo, Laurie Anderson, Boredoms, Ex Models, William Basinski, Sufjan Stevens, Jan St Werner, Jim Sauter, Philip Glass and many more. I demystify the drums for players of all ages and levels.
