About

I strive to have a real back and forth relationships with my students. Many of my students will send me songs and clips on YouTube of drummers they want to sound like and I will craft the lesson around that. I don't believe in one way of teaching. Every student I have is completely different. Some students really want to work on their chart reading and some drummers just want to get better at playing with their band. I truly believe one of the biggest problems with private lessons is the cookie cutter mentality that a lot of teachers have.

I love the look in the eye of a student when they get inspired by the drums. It sounds corny but it really makes me happy to see other people enjoying the craft that I've been working on for years.
