I OWN and OPERATE "Lady Electric", and it was coined that since the 80's. It gives me purpose, copability, and there's nobody to answer to and nobody to blame. I wouldn't want it any other way. I am not just a novelty, I'm an inspiration to the women clients I serve and their spouses as well.
I started following a master electrician in 1977 but i was too young for him to hire me, he was nevertheless impressed by my use of tools and my work ethic at 15-16-17 yrs old, he then offered me a full time job just shy of my 18th birthday. The electrical trade has been very good to me.
At 4 years in, I took and passed the jourmeymans exam and I never looked back. Passing the block test for the Residential Specialty Journeyman's was very hard.

Residential Wiring only. I don't serve commercial/Industrial properties. I offer Full service Repairs and Installations and
Insurance compliance.
Theres 5 types of calls:
1. Repairs-service call
2. Estimates for larger jobs only)Small jobs a few hrs or less can be fixed priced or phone priced.
3. Installations
4. Inspections
5. Emergency service
Repairs. A service call is for Repairs not installation. Our fee is $150 includes 1st hour. (the other $65 is to cover travel and offset lead fee) Addl hours are $85 hr. plus materials. (within 30 miles and on thumtack leads under $30)
We dont have any markup on supplies. Depending on how careful you are when you place your request, as to what "category" you listed it in is how much your lead fee is.
Installations can be by the job or day. or hour. we price most anything over the phone.
We don't offer service to businesses. We ONLY serve residential clients
We do:
Lighting & design (Top end trim) (light fixtures, Fans, smoke det.)
Devices (Bottom end trim)(outlets, switches installations)
Ceiling fans, kitchen hood fans and bath exhaust fans.
Please Note we will not create a vent hole through your roof for exhaust or attic fans bath fans
Breaker panels, sub panels and repairs & and installations
Security lights & cameras (120v) no ethernet or cat 5,6 or alike wire.
Landscape lighting & design
Smart home devices
Hot tub & pool pump Installations
RV hook-ups
Shed, Garage, Outbuilding Power
Temporary Backup Generators (not whole home with perm. gas)
EV (Electric Vehicle) Charging Ports

In fact, we average about half the cost of other pros.
Please be AWARE that we do not pull permits on most of the jobs we do it's not necessary unless its new construction or a remodel over 20k in most municipalities, If you absolutely require one, you're welcome to pull one and have my work inspected. I don't have any issues with inspections. All work is top notch and up to code.

PRICING & POLICY:

When you place your request on Thumbtack, you have 2 choices.

2. Decide if you want to let up to four (4) pros contact you or specifically pick ONE.

Regular, no surprise pricing!
$150 for call incl 1st hour. on Any repair or service run (doesnt apply to BIDDED JOBS there is no service charge on bids its built in to the day price and overage on materials and if within our travel areas.
SPECIALS:
(6 hr day rate) is $550 flat rate (regular price) for ANY Service or install. plus 10% over materials for incidentals.
We offer specials on re trims upper and lower (lighting package and device packagr price flat fee) must be a common 3/2 home under 1600sf
SERVICE CALL is a request for service repair only and are hourly + materials.
EMERGENCY SERVICE rate call is $200 flat fee after hours call and $100 hourly. within 30 miles.
HOME WARRANTY SVC.
Guidelines
We expect payment day of service.
You pay us and SUBMIT our INVOICE to them. And
They pay you back. we DO NOT write ESTIMATES OR BILL THEM directly.
We also offer many other home services across the 3 major trades, wire-wood and water.
