ENGLISH LESSONS:
Available weekdays from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays available 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. I am certified to teach ESL, and I am also certified to teach for the U.S. Citizenship Exam.
I taught English to students and adults in China for four years. I planned and conducted English language lessons. I taught elementary English and Business English. I had one-on-one students, and also average classes of 8 to 10 students.
I can help you with your English pronunciation, and I can also help you with your Spanish pronunciation.
My goal is to help improve your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. I will provide you with weekly feedback on your progress.
SPANISH LESSONS:
SPECIFIC COURTROOM TRANSLATION WORK
· Interpreted from English to Spanish, and vice versa simultaneously and consecutive modes.
· Made translations for the benefit of the court of documents including, court petitions, reports, waivers, statement forms, and other misc. documents.
· Interpreted for Judges, attorneys, court staff, and other court-related departments.
· Was often asked to participate in bringing to the Court’s attention any issue that could impede another Interpreter’s performance.
· Mastered the legal terminology (English & Spanish) used in court and other functions of the court system.
· Traveled extensively throughout North America, Canada, Central America, South America, and the Middle East performing aforementioned translation duties.
