Teaching English as a Second Language requires special skills and dedication. Not only I display the passion to teach, I also have experience teaching a variety of courses to college students of all levels. My professional background includes over 14 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business from accredited universities in the United States.
I also learned English as a second language being Spanish my native language. I went through high level ESL training, courses, and tests as a student. This gives me a very unique perspective and ability to understand how students feel, what they think, their challenges, and put myself in their own shoes.
Relevant professional experience includes previous roles such as Chief of Staff and Legislative Director at the New York State Assembly and Project Manager for construction and government related contracts (writing proposal experience).
In addition, I provide translation services to individuals and companies and I am able to translate all kinds of documents in different fields including legal, financial, and medical. I have translated documents in formal professional settings such as the New York State Assembly for legislative and media relations work and also have over five years of professional experience in the financial and banking field.
