I feel that communication with my clients is the key to success. One of the most common complaints in the construction industry is not the speed of the project but the lack of communication. Larger projects will sometimes have unexpected delays or issues but keeping our customers informed of what is happening on the job and what will be happening next is imperative. One of the most important aspects to success in the marketplace is to clearly define goals and timelines.
We try and always make sure we are the best fit for your job. I have in the past referred out a potential client because I didn't feel that I could bring any value to the project and it would be less costly to not hire a general contractor. We stay busy and try to execute our projects with a high level of professionalism and satisfaction by spending time listening to what our clients want instead of talking at them. No two construction projects are alike and while they may be similar, each customer and their individual requirements are what make this interesting.
The subcontractors that we use have often been with me for years. I have always tried to treat my subcontractors as I would want to be treated - paid promptly and to be communicated with in terms of what is expected on a project. We count on them and we trust in our relationships with them to leave a lasting impression.
