About

I teach music in a holistic and comprehensive way. Along with proper instrumental technique, I teach my students to hear the roots and important harmonic and rhythmic elements of different kinds of music and help them to learn to hear what they play before they play it.

That moment where something "clicks" for a student. As much as I can show and guide them through the process, developing as a musician is a very personal experience and the ultimate credit is to the student when a concept really becomes clear to them.
