Treat yourself to learning the full technique and capacity or your own voice and range, learn stage presence, expression, as well as CORRECT technique. Work on building confidence and a full repetoire of songs, taught by a professional musician with over 25 years of teaching experience. Graduate of the John Ford School of Voice (S.F), the Clo Parello School of Music, and extensive studies at West Valley, De Anza and Foothill College. Taught by a professional performing musician. You will learn scales, harmony, pitch, stage presence and mic technique.
My teaching style is very much like my personality. I am serious, determined, disciplined and structured. However, I am very friendly, encouraging, patient and like to encourage you through POSITIVE strokes and feedback. I like to inspire and help you to be your most creative self. I like the student to learn by experience. I will write down all of our lesson plans and what you do in every lesson so you can see your progress. I also record your lesson so that you can have something to hear back during the times you are not with me. I like to have fun as well and encourage you to take big leaps of faith, and try to do things you never thought you would.
If I come to your home, I would need a keyboard or piano to do scales with you. For piano I work from a mixture of popular basic books such as Alfreds, Keith Snell, Julie Johnson, Faber and Faber, Schaum and more depending on student needs.
Guitar books are Hal Leonard and many more.
