I’m Ramiro Marziani, a world-class guitarist and music educator based in New York City. With over 15 years of live performance experience around the world, 10 years of teaching, and a Summa Cum Laude degree from Berklee College of Music, I’ve developed my craft to offer the best and and most enjoyable guitar & music learning experience.
If you're looking to master the guitar, whether you're just starting or already an advanced player, or you are just looking to play casually for fun, you’ve come to the right place. My teaching method is designed to make you enjoy the process of learning, while you attain whichever level you are aiming for. I am here to inspire you and help you get there.
LESSONS:

I teach students of all ages, from 10 to 60+ years old, and from beginners to advanced players. My lessons are designed around you, your goals, and what you want to get out of them. Some people come to me wanting to learn their favorite songs, while others are more interested in diving deep into music theory and technique. Whatever you’re looking for, I’ll help you enjoy the process and play music from the start.
I teach online, from my fully-equipped home studio in Brooklyn, using Zoom, document sharing other tools that make learning smooth and effective. For students in NYC, I also offer lessons in my studio or can travel to you (for an additional rate).

- BEGINNERS: We’ll start with basic chords and patterns, getting you playing full songs quickly. The focus is on fun and making sure you play music and getting a pleasing sound from the start.
- INTERMEDIATE: We’ll dive into things like music theory, technique, and style. At this level, you’ll have a deeper passion for playing music, and I’ll help you build on that.
ADVANCED: I’ll help you identify your strengths and weaknesses. We’ll work on improving any areas that need focus, whether that’s technique, theory, or specific styles like improvisation or fingerpicking. If you’re preparing for a college audition or any other big performance, I can help you with that, too.
My goal is always the same: to make sure you’re improving, and that you’re enjoying the journey. I can guarantee you’ll see progress, and that our lessons will always be a relaxed, positive experience.

ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES:
I work with some of the best NY-based musicians in the industry, and I’m able to offer everything from solo guitar to full instrumental ensembles for private gigs, weddings, receptions, and other events. I specialize in:

•Instrumental Jazz Trios, Quartets, and Quintets
We can play everything from Jazz to Rock, Pop, and Latin American music—whatever fits the vibe of your event. We bring all the necessary equipment and energy to make your event truly memorable. I’ve performed in very big stages all over the world—from Prague to London, Buenos Aires to New York—and have appeared in 2 NPR Tiny Desk Concerts. There’s nothing I love more than seeing people enjoy the music we create together.
