My name is Parker Tozier, and I am a professional multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter. When you take lessons from me, I cater to your needs and goals as a musician. Whether you want to learn rock, jazz, country, funk, metal, midwest emo, or to start writing your own songs, I can get you exactly where you want to be. My main focus as a teacher is always to get you playing your favorite songs as quickly as possible. However, if you desire a more structure/theory based approach, I can help you get to an advanced level of musicianship by breaking down the music you already love, and provide you with a more in-depth understanding of it. I aim to give you material to not only improve your technique, but also provide the tools you need to strengthen your individual voice as a musician.
I have over ten years of experience recording, performing, and composing music, as well as over five years teaching experience. I studied guitar and composition at the California Institute of the Arts, and I currently teach in person lessons at Allegra Music Academy in Tarzana, CA.
