Hi, my name is Steve. In my previous life, I was an Electro-Mechanical - Sr. Project Engineer at a multinational electronics and electrical systems manufacturer. During the course of my 40-year career with the same company, I was granted 19 US and international patents. I worked with companies like IBM, Apple, Ford, Cisco, and Intel just to name a few.
My position allowed me to travel all over the US and internationally. Although I was quite busy with my 9-5 job, if you will, the entrepreneur in me would not rest.
My “side-gigs” were an escape and sanity saver from my regular duties at the “big” company and allowed me to be my own boss from time to time.
I ran “Tek-Q --Technology Solutions “, building and fixing computers and helping people with tech-related challenges.
When not “building/fixing” things, I ran “Mystique Media – Digital Studios”. MM was a multi-faceted business, with offerings ranging from Photography, Videography, and Photo Restoration to Website Design and hosting.
To round things out, I was also a Real Estate Owner/ Investor. In a sense, the experience I got from owning, managing, and fixing my properties laid the groundwork for my newest business that I started when I moved my family here to beautiful SW Florida. That business being, “The Home Technician – Handyman Services”.
Although I “retired” from my “professional” job, I’m a long way from retirement.
The Home Technician – Handyman Services business, thanks to you, my neighbors, keeps me quite busy. So busy, in fact, that I am looking to expand.
