Why should customers hire me? Mainly, because I operate with integrity and good character. I'm honest. I stand by my work. If you aren't happy, I'll fix it. I'm insured in every way. I genuinely care about my customers and appreciate your business more than I can express.
A little background..... I started my business over 10 years ago, in 2009. It was during the recession. I had been laid off three times and ended up losing my home. I was a single mom with two little boys, no money, no home, no nothing.
I had been a graphic designer in a previous life, and even owned my own design business for three years. But, my time spent at home raising my boys and the recession seemed to wipe out quite a lot of opportunity. I was starting from scratch, in every way, in my 40's.
I decided to start my own business because I've always been entrepreneur-minded. I knew I could count on myself, more than I could yet another employer who could lay me off. I wanted to build something nobody could take away.
Many of my first customers were disabled in some way. Rather than being envious or sad about my situation, I realized that in many ways I was the lucky one. Though I had lost so much, I was still strong and healthy enough to do the work so many of my customers could not. I saw that the work I did improved the quality of their lives - and it gave my work meaning. I started imagining myself leaving a trail of light behind me as I worked. I wanted to bring positive energy into people's homes.
I believe in your basic values; a solid work ethic, honesty, doing more than expected. That's pretty much my secret - basing my business on good values has meant I am trusted, and I have grown steadily over the years.
I now service 50+ customers a week and have 15+ women who help me. I am incredibly grateful for the success of my business and for the loyalty of my customers. I take nothing for granted. When I look at where I was when I started and where I am now, I can hardly believe it. I am thankful for every single customer who has helped me pull myself out of that pit.
We bring everything we need and use primarily eco-friendly, non-toxic products. We work in groups of 3 to get the job done as efficiently as possible. If you are ever unhappy with anything, just let me know and we'll make it right. I stand by my word.
