About

I have been an art teacher for 20 years and have a background in illustration (wine labels, greeting cards, pet portraits, children’s picture books). I enjoy creating fun, energetic images that portray movement and mood of a scene. Whether in black & white or color, my drawing style brings the characters and story to life.

Some of my favorite subjects are dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, and people.

My style is realistic, yet expressive, or cartoonistic.

I create my artwork in a variety of mediums, including watercolors, oils, acrylics, pencil, colored pencil, pen & ink, and printmaking.
