Melanie is a licensed architect and highly experienced designer focusing on efficient and flexible use of space for small living and use of sustainable materials. She sources materials, furniture, lighting, and art that is both durable and beautiful. She works with a handful of clients at a time, including residential, restaurant, office, or retail projects. Commercial clients work with Melanie to create a successful brick and mortar plan for their business life. Residential clients work with Melanie to create a sustainable plan encompassing their life. If you work with Melanie, she creates scope documents that give you a roadmap for a successful project from the beginning of an idea to the end of construction. She integrates you and your families (or customers) inspiration from travel, from hobbies, from passions, from found artifacts, or whatever you have in life that gives you purpose.
Melanie provides you documents to determine the various cost and time factors in making decisions throughout your project (i.e. the use of sustainable materials, high quality/low maintenance, etc).
What Melanie DOES NOT DO: Melanie is an architect and designer - not a drafter. She only takes on clients and projects where she creates the project plan for design and project pricing purposes only. Permit documents are created by others - coordinated by Melanie if desired.
30 MINUTE INITIAL CONSULT AGREEMENT: Because of Melanie's extensive knowledge and ability to provide actionable information at the onset, the initial 30-minute consult conference call is $125 (a link to pay and schedule for call will be sent to you).
