Dr. Makeda Greene was born in Trinidad, W.I. and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in School Psychology from Howard University, Masters of Arts degree in Global Gender Studies and Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Global Gender Studies from the University at Buffalo. As a clinician, she has worked in traditional school districts, the public charter school system, and juvenile justice system with her primary focus being infants and toddlers, Spanish speaking students, and black immigrant students and families. For the past ten years she has been providing college admissions coaching for college bound students, transition coaching, early career coaching.
