After being married for 14 years, my world turned upside down when that chapter ended in divorce. Since then, life has thrown me many unexpected challenges, but my faith in God and the unwavering support of friends who listened without judgment helped me make it through. Therapy didn’t work for me because I already knew the areas I needed to work on. What truly helped was talking to people who just listened—who allowed me to express myself freely.
I’ve come to understand that most people need someone who understands, listens, and accepts them for who they are, no matter what season they’re in.
