About

I am currently accepting students forWinter-Spring 2024. I am now adding an ONLINE component. In addition to a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts and Sciences, plus a a degree of Master of Arts in Education, I also have earned a Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a supplementary certificate as a Language Develpment Specialist for children with English as a second language, and a Professional Certificate in the Education of the Gifted and Talented. I have taught 36 years with elementary age students both in public schools and private math tutoring.

When the students experience 'the light coming on,' the look in their eyes is worth its weigh in gold. And when they exclaim "I Get It" this is etched in my memory forever.

My experience includes 22 years in the elementary classroom, plus 14 years private tutoring.
