Teaching is the most rewarding work I have ever done - no question. One of the greatest feelings that accompany this line of work is the feeling of no longer being needed, as counterintuitive as that may sound! When my students ask a question, only to answer their own question using the knowledge they've gained through our sessions, before I even have a chance to open my mouth, I see the lasting impact of our work together. There is no feeling quite as fulfilling as the feeling of having done your job well.

It is my honor to serve classrooms, communities, and families in Southern California in their pursuit of achieving their learning goals - whether those goals are attending a large research university, striking up conversations with locals on a trip to México, or finally being able to read a restaurant menu without help.
