Hello!
My education and experience with diverse student populations allow me to learn how each student learns best and what each student needs in order to be successful.
Not only am I a tutor and teacher, but I am also a musician, a DJ, a coach, and an athlete, and I have been successful in each of these areas. In preparing for a performance or competition, weeks and months of preparation often come down to an hour or two to show what you've got. The same goes for preparing for a big test. Not only do I specialize in helping students learn as much as possible as quickly as possible, but I teach them how to prepare so that they show their best work when it matters the most.
I have been a math and test prep tutor for over 15 years and a department chair at my high school for the last 5 years. I have a Master's degree in Leadership and Education. I have taught and designed curriculum for all math classes from Pre-Algebra to Calculus BC and Statistics.
I am available for tutoring in person or remotely using an online interactive whiteboard system called Groupboard. At the end of each session, I can electronically send notes that we have worked on and also provide you with extra practice that will help reinforce what you learn.
