About

My name is Lupe Torres. I'm currently an online math teacher working at an online accredited private middle and high school. I have over 22 years of experience in the field of education. I have worked in private schools for the past 12 years, public schools for 10 years, and in educational nonprofits for 8 years. I've worked in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and at the community college. I have taught and tutored students from 3rd grade through high school, and up to college. I love making math concepts accessible and visually appealing. My goal is to help students progress towards feeling empowered around math and demonstrate mastery around the math content. I have a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Leadership, and I'm also fluent in Spanish.

I’m available for online tutoring only. I have been teaching and tutoring online since 2013.
