Hello, my name is Daniel and I am a recent graduate of UC Berkeley (Class of 2023) with a B.A. in Physics and Astrophysics. I have been tutoring people in math since 2017 and have experience working at Mathnasium of South Pasadena. As of now, I teach a private AP Physics 1 class along with private tutoring while I do research here at Berkeley.

I like to teach to help understand concepts instead of memorizing the formulas. Emphasis on learning rather than doing it quick. Homework will be given to help reinforce material learned from previous session on request. Available for classes even above AP Calculus BC and any AP Physics (Ask for details for tutoring on UC Berkeley Physics classes).

Locations

I offer tutoring through zoom and in-person around the Berkeley and Oakland area. This can be at the library, cafe, UC Berkeley campus or at home.

Rates

For online tutoring I charge $150/hour. My rates are fixed and only exception is that I offer discounts for group tutoring. For in-person tutoring I charge $180/hour, although the rate may vary depending on how far away from UC Berkeley the location is. There is a 50% cancellation fee for sessions canceled less than 24 hours before.
