Family. Fun. Togetherness. That is what All That Jazz is about. In my life so many memorable moments were shared around the table. From my grandmother making sure we were fed when we came to visit. Spaghetti and fried chicken, green beans from the garden, and those wonderful hoe cakes, milk bread that's what she calls them. What a welcome home! My aunt Mae serving up a chitterling plate with some hot water corn bread at the snack bar, always a must when visiting home. my mother, my number one teacher, fan and confidant. I was her sous chef. My culinary skill set began sitting on the counter watching her work and perfect the dishes that became comfort to me. uncle steve and uncle slick broadened my bbq skills, controlling the fire, low and slow. I learned the art of southern soul food and bbq from my family. Memories taught, it's not just about the skill, it's about the love. I'm taking all that love, all of the lessons and I'm sharing it with the world. I want people to experience the love that I have experienced all my life around the table.
