Unlike many other companies (yes, even some here on Thumbtack), we are fully licensed for the work we perform. We carry a $2 million General Liability policy, Professional Liability, Workman's Comp, and are bonded. We also carry Pollution Liability, a policy only a small percentage of companies carry. We have been in business for over 20 years.
We do not perform mold assessments/inspections or write remediation protocols. Those are done by third-party licensed Mold Assessment Consultants and per Texas regulations, we cannot do remediation without a protocol. You can visit the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) website and look up licensed Mold Assessment Companies/Consultants.
Will you pay more for a quality company? Yes. But if you are on here looking for mold services, you must care a little bit about having it done right. Choosing someone that is not licensed and not working under the Texas regulations can put you and your family at risk. It's not worth it.
