The THREE Specialty Massages that Jessica is inspired to practice are:
Neural Reset Therapy-which gives profound results, releasing the connective tissues and scar tissue (even if it's 40 years old) that is causing a pulling pattern in the body and secretly causing pain and discomfort! It resets muscle pains and spasms with ease! This technique is VERY Quick to reset the tissue. A full body reset can be done in 60 mins! Then we go into deeper pulling patterns and get very specific, getting scar tissue out from old injuries and surgeries.
This technique can be done clothed, sitting, standing or on the massage table.
Gua Sha Therapy-if you've never experienced it, you're missing out! This is a flat surfaced handheld tool that glides along your skin's surface. This technique is thousands of years old and releases stagnation and tightness in connective tissue and muscle knots very quickly with a light sensation and no pain! Many times something called 'sha' will come up to the surface of the skin, little red or purple speckles that can last 2-5 days, these are not harmful to the body in any way, it usually happens more in tight and stagnated areas that are impeding the body and it's tissues in various different ways. It is very fast, 5 mins in an area will do the same as 20 mins of strong hand pressure. The tool is a fairly pleasant sensation and 4 knots get released instead of one! Sounds like a win/win!
Healing Heart Massage - This is a sacred journey in a trusting and loving environment where there is no judgment. This session consists of talk therapy with Energy work, Prayer Therapy and with or without massage work, depending on what the session requires. Crying is encouraged to shed what has been holding you back or to simply shed what doesn't feel "happy"! You will feel snug and safe for this healing transition.
