I've been in nutrition for years. I tend to be a 'last resort' when someone has struggled with finding answers to their symptoms or nutrition problems. Other dietitians ask me questions when things get tough.
Food is medicine. I use kitchen herbs and spices, fermented foods, and simple cooking techniques to make healthy choices taste as good as they feel. I use a whole household approach when it makes sense.
I love working with children and families. Some of my favorite opportunities are working with selective eaters (picky) -often sensory issues, ARFID, or anxieties. I also have had excellent experiences working with families of chronically ill children, who may eat orally or via a tube, to maximize health and minimize symptoms.
I have additional training in adverse food reactions. I've helped hundreds of people negotiate food allergies and intolerances. We can figure out good substitutes and strategies to eat around allergies. Some intolerances can be exercised into being less severe or even resolved - not all.
I do not peddle weight loss. I seldom suggest a supplement. We work together to take the way you are eating towards the next step.
I'm licensed in Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Check with your insurance, you may be able to submit for reimbursement.
I'm Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietitics.
