iDesign
Alterations:
*Hemming only. iDesign is offering 1/2 of the first lessor alteration with two or more alterations at first visit.
Pattern:
iDesign makes custom personal patterns tailored to individuals. iDesign will cut, sew and custom make your tailored garments.
* iDesign does alterations, it will usually run you between $35-$40 for hemming and such. Items that require extensive tailoring are more pricier.
* If you require a pattern a digital download is a great idea, and I will move forward it putting it together. These downloads are usually no-refundable from the vendor. I will charge you a nominal fee if I need to alter these patterns, usually the case.
* iDesign does not do Monogramming so please don't reach out to me if you are wanting this service.
* Agreement:
You will need to sign what is known as an 'Agreement' which states what each of the parties shall provide to move the process forward. It is very simple laymen's language, so please don't see this as a deterrent.
* Upon party signing the Agreement to move the process forward I ask for half the cost 'good faith payment' and balance upon completion of the service/good provided to you.
Payment:
Several options are listed in the 'Agreement" Thumbtack is one way to make a payment.
*Travel:
If you are local within my surrounding zip code within 5 miles, no in-house fee.
If you are 10 miles or less, $35 per visit.
If you are 10 miles to fifty miles an in-house visit $48 per each visit.
If you are 50 miles or further an in-house visit $65 per each visit.
*Quilting
idesign makes handmade quilts, like those of Memory Quilts, Special Occasions, Holiday quilts.
*I have worked with lace, satin, chiffon, cotton, burlap, wool, viscose, linen, cotton, leather, vinyl, and other other blends of fabric.
* Please be aware even though I do furniture repair the type of repair I do is "SOFT" outdoor/indoor furniture repair (cushions pillows, swings, patio cushions, etc.).
* I carry some outdoor/indoor materials for soft furniture. Please ask and I will forward you those that let me know if you would like to schedule a consultation.
* I also make curtains and drapery for any area of your home as well as many other small projects I might consider taking on.

* I offer sewing lessons to those who wish to learn the basics and beyond (15% discount on classes one month or more). If you wish to learn pattern making from scratch I can also teach you, but serious request only please.
