Welcome and thank you for taking your time to learn more about us! We built Savory Moment around the concept of deepening relationships through immersive culinary experiences. We are a full service catering service with a delicious, modern and healthy twist. We serve Californian contemporary fair, but can do anything from a simple backyard barbecue all the way up to a 5 star pop up. Our belief is the dinner table is a place of coming together and celebration. For that reason, we build the menu together and go over any dietary restrictions you or your guests may have. We want your evening to be perfect and we make the process a lot of fun! You'll be included every step of the way.
Savory Moment applies ingredient-obsessed, hyper-seasonal, cure-it-yourself ethos to everything we create. Take the flowering cauliflower from my good friends over at Coastal Farms, for example: it almost has a sweetness to it. Or the incredible rainbow kale from Shu Takikawa’s farm The Garden Of: it is so bright purple that it practically glows in the dark, and is grown with care, prepared with mindfulness and delivered with a smile.
We believe optimum eating and health is not disconnected from the actualization of your life’s pursuits at all – in fact it is so intimately connected to it that you cannot have true success without it. The body in a way can be viewed as a vessel – one that carries precious cargo. The stronger the vessel, the more it can endure. Most importantly, to truly eat and be well, it enables us to go out and explore our comfort zone and hopefully step just beyond it. This all relates back to increasing our capacity to experience life and all of its grandeur. Whether it’s inside your home with your family and loved ones, or facing yourself in the great outdoors – Life is meant to be lived fully.
