I am Chef Mieko, I am a vegan chef based in Oakland, CA. I specialize in creating plant-based specialties that will make you consider changing your lifestyle. I have been a chef for over 10 years, I began working in a small restaurant, moving on to running public school kitchens, and now owning my own vegan restaurant in Oakland. I enjoy cooking and creating meals out of whole ingredients.

I am Chef Kami, although my partner specializes in vegan menu items, I prepare meat, vegetarian, pescatarian and specialty diet dishes. I began cooking 12 years ago, I have taken french cooking courses and utilize my traveling experiences in the meals I create today. I cater and teach cooking classes to people of all ages and demographics. My biggest thing is flavor! You will never be disappointed with the magic I create. I also magically create fun and fresh cocktails, mocktails, smoothies and juices. Everything will always be organic and local when working with me!
