My name is Ryan and I want to feed you! I have over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, a culinary background from CCSF’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Program, and a track record of providing exceptional service.
Throughout my career, in all aspects of the hospitality industry, I have honed my skills in private chef work and a commitment to excellence in the highest standards of service and hospitality; demonstrated through my success in managing fine dining services, partnering in restaurant concepts, co-operating a catering company and overseeing restaurant operations, where I have led dedicated staff of up to 30 individuals.
I am approachable, kind, engaged and respectful. I pride myself on a cultivated understanding of client dietary preferences and the ability to adapt to different cuisines. I like to focus on the entire aesthetic of a meal from the quality of the ingredients, the integrity with which they’re sourced, the vibrant and unique flavor of each ingredient’s contribution to the dish, the colors and the smells…how do they make you feel? What memories or thoughts do they trigger? Food should stir the emotions and satisfy the soul!
Humbly, I’d like to think I can do anything! My experience in different cuisines, diets, allergy restrictions and aversions has varied widely. And if I can’t do it, I’ll learn how! That’s why I find cooking so fascinating and entertaining! There are a million ways to season a chicken…the act is the same but the spices, herbs, seasonings can be different every time and there is always an opportunity to create and learn and grow.
