For people of all ages and fitness levels, I teach cardiovascular exercise, total body muscle strengthening, Pilates and other exercises for core and back, flexibility and agility, strategies to improve balance and coaching for lifestyle.. My clients include those with chronic conditions, those recovering from injuries and from surgery.
After working with so many people, I am skilled in identifying the complexities of individuals' needs. That allows me to lay out detailed strategies to suit them. I know that having a program to follow is one thing while staying motivated for the long term is another. Therefore one's lifestyle, temperament, and schedule are central to any program I design.
I began in 1997 and find I am happiest when I see people feeling better, free of pain and physical limitations, and returning to activities they consider vital to their lives. Another enjoyable aspect of my work is forming partnerships and collaborating on what clients and I do together. Needless to say, sharing humor, emotional support, and even friendship are big bonuses for both of us.
