I have dedicated the last two decades to fitness, evolving from a competitive athlete in martial arts and track and field to a seasoned instructor and personal trainer. My athletic journey began in high school, where I excelled in track and field, earning a full scholarship to the University of New Mexico. Although my collegiate career did not end as anticipated, ranking 11th nationally, it deepened my passion for the sport.
Post-college, I committed to empowering others by obtaining certifications in personal training, nutrition, athletic performance, fat-loss, and hot yoga. My philosophy centers on the importance of beginning—regardless of one’s initial fitness level or goals. Whether it’s running a marathon, mastering self-defense, adjusting body composition, or enhancing yoga skills, the key is to take that initial, albeit challenging, step towards your objectives. Starting might be daunting, but it is invariably the most rewarding part of the journey.
