Throughout the past two years, I've worked with clients of all backgrounds, goals, and starting points. Being a great personal trainer requires not only the ability to become fit yourself, but more importantly the capacity to be a chameleon and help any type of client seeking help. My focus when working with clients is to eliminate barriers to becoming fit and build a plan that will get them to their specific goals. Common barriers that my clients have faced include: being intimidated by the gym, not knowing where to start, not having a plan to follow, lacking motivation or consistency, struggling with body image, and having a bad relationship with food and exercise.
When building a plan, I work with clients to create workouts that excite them and meal ideas that they enjoy to create a lifestyle that they can sustain long term. No matter their starting point, every single one of my clients has developed the skills and confidence to be able to make their own choices, and has found joy in the process of making lifestyle changes.
